Cowboys Battle Mexican Refugee Bandit Near Sierra Madera
Creed Taylor and John Paschal chased and killed a Mexican refugee bandit after a night clash on a PML ranch hillside near the Sierra Madera mountains. The wounded men, including Taylor and Loyd Cain, and sheriff deputies pursued the attacker who fired on their car. the Mexican died in the ensuing fight and his rifle was taken to the sheriff’s office as evidence.

Hamilton with J. H. Baverly for concrete and rip rap under W. L. Sullivan. Reservoir features include 80,000 cubic yards of earth, 4000 feet long dam 22 feet high, impervious foundation, rock paving, high pressure concrete gates, and a two mile by half mile wide body capable of irrigating the tract twice per fill.
