Lorenzo Holguin, re arrested after Blas Rodriguez died from gunshot wounds suffered May 18. Holguin waived examining trial on murder charges and posted a 5000 bond. Wool in storage this week totals about 3 000 000 pounds, including eight and 12 month clips with shearing still active in the mountains. Lions Club Plans Parade Float Featuring Tucker Twins
The Lions Club will enter a parade float at the Water Carnival with the Tucker Twins of Winters as center attractions. A committee including G. C. Nunn Clyde Wilson and W. F. An unexpectedly keen demand for tickets for Friday and Saturday night Wat er Carnival programs has kept 20 to 30 members busy this week and bids fail to exhaust the six section reserve of 1780 seats. Local residents are urged to buy Friday night tickets to leave Saturday seats for out of town spectators. Thursday night has no reserved seats or advance sales. Tickets are available at several local businesses, with plans for a strong drive next week.
