Auctioning of animals boosts Red Cross fund
Last week J T Tinkler and son donated two goats and a fine hog to the local Red Cross chapter. The goats sold for 12 dollars to J E Minear. the hog bought by F S Wilson for 35 dollars. Double Killing At Sanderson Ends in Sheriff and Suspect Dead
Doc Anderson, sheriff of Terrell County, and Ed Valentine were killed Tuesday afternoon in Sanderson. Telegrams report Valentine shot the sheriff then was later shot and killed in a room.
