Eastbourne Dies in Rochester After Illness
Dave Eastbourne 41 longtime manager of Western Sales Co died Thursday morning in a Rochester Minnesota hospital after a months long illness and recent operations. He came to Dallas from Big Spring in 1942 to lead Western Sales when partner Harral Anderson joined the Army. Survivors include his mother Mrs Pearl Eastbourne of Dallas and his widow Mrs Emmaline Eastbourne who was with him in Rochester. Funeral plans are set for Dallas on Monday afternoon.

Convicted Man Sent To Weatherford On Felony Charge
Leo W. Yearry a 23 year old New York state man who pleaded guilty to burglary in Sheffield was sentenced to five years by Judge W C Jackson and sent to Weatherford to stand trial on theft of a car. His accomplice a 14 year old Longview boy was sent by bus to East Texas to his parents.
