Alpine pastor Rev J A Kidd district Missionary of Pecos Valley Baptist Association will lead the Fort Stockton church annual revival starting Sunday. Services twice daily for two weeks with cottage prayer gatherings held each evening this week. Pastor Rev S F Marsh invites all Christians to attend and assist. Special music will be provided by local church members.

Celebration in Stockton Thursday Declared Success
A Stockton celebration last Thursday drew sizable crowds and sponsors declare it a success. Sanderson won the ball game in a well played contest. Alfred Ten Eyck won roping honors defeating Frank Savage. he took calf roping in 19 seconds. Louis Deran was second and Frank Savage third. The barbecue and dance at the Country Club were well attended with dancing all night as the Comanche Ramblers played.

Summer School in Charge G. C. Moses Classes Now Forming
Summer school under G. C. Moses has begun with courses in grammar and high school divisions. Full credit for completed courses within regular sessions is offered. Oil Man Victim of Heart Attack in San Antonio Hotel
Charlies P. Link, Dallas independent oil operator and former Taylor-Link partner, died of a heart attack Monday in a San Antonio hotel. Funeral services were held in Fort Worth. Link and James L. Taylor helped establish the pool 35 miles east of Fort Stockton in 1929 and he later moved to Dallas in 1931 selling his West Texas interests.

Miss Juliette Forchheimer Dies After Illness in El Paso
Miss Juliette Forchheimer of Alpine aged 18 died Sunday night May 27 after a six week illness at Hotel Dieu in El Paso. She was the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Winkler and Mrs. Edith Winkler of Fort Stockton and survived by her parents, a brother Paul and sister Florence. Funeral services were held in El Paso with burial there. Attending from Alpine were Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Winkler and Fannie and Miriam Winkler and Mrs. Edith Winkler.

Latson Child Dies From Burns in McCamey
Mary Sue Latson four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Noble Latson died Tuesday night from serious burns. The Latsons formerly lived in Fort Stockton and were connected with the Texas highway department during their stay here. She was the couple’s only child.

Directors Sign Red Bluff Deed of Trust Forms
Funds for the Red Bluff dam and irrigation project moved closer after Red Bluff Water Power Control District directors signed the Deed of Trust. The document now goes to Chapman and Cutler of Chicago and PWA attorneys in Washington for approval before the district can requisition funds. New Equipment Installed at Ward Winter Cleaning Plant
