Brady hosted the Sheep and Goat Raisers Association session naming T. A. Kincaid as president and W. C. Schultz and Robert Reel as first and second vice presidents. Roy Aldwell became treasurer and N. W. Graham secretary. Ed Blanton remains editor of the Sheep and Goat Raisers Magazine. Three new executive committee members were added and sales at the convention totaled 16 791.50 with a top ram price of 550 dollars paid by Ed Downie.

Assured West Texas Help for New Lone Star Trail Extension
J M Hughes reports strong backing for extending the Lone Star Trail from Waco to El Paso. He traveled about 1500 miles over two weeks, noting counties lining asphalt surfacing and praising Pecos County roads. The route would connect with the Bankhead Highway and shift east–west travel away from San Antonio. He heads to Jacksonville, Florida, next.

John Trent sold 800 high grade Ram Bouillet ewe lambs to Cannon Allison for full delivery. Trent touts continued improvement of his flocks. Fred Cliett reports selling 2000 yearling lambs to R Jones for Cannon Allison. delivery tomorrow at Girvin, price 8.50 per head. Cliett also sold a land section to Van Casey for 1800 dollars in the Casey ranch in Pecos county. Mr and Mrs Winfield and others returned from southern California trip. Aug 3 Lone Star Trail to be presented to federal road authorities for endorsement and designation, via Waco Times.
