Forest Park officials commit 10000 from a federal grant to hire an administrator. On Friday John Wade of Oak Park becomes executive director of the Forest Park Chamber, combining both roles to address storefront vacancies and business site issues. The HUD grant targets the central business district with county administration. Wade, 47, previously led Oak Park Chamber and managed Village Mall operations before funding cuts ended his post.
