Rededication Honors Mohr at Forest Park Center
An open house and ceremony will rededicate the Forest Park Community Center to the memory of the late Mayor Howard R. Mohr at 10 a.m. Saturday June 11. The event in the courtyard at Desplaines Avenue and Jackson Boulevard will move indoors if weather turns inclement. A portrait by James Chicouris and a bronze plaque will be unveiled affixed to the front of the center.

Forest Park installs a night depository at the village hall 517 Desplaines Ave for payments of parking tickets water bills and messages. Village Clerk William R. McKenzie says the depository is in front of the main door and the hall will close on Saturdays in June July and August with stated weekly hours.
