More than 500 Forest Park residents packed the village hall to demand reconsideration of the U S Postal Service plan to move the South Suburban Facility from Chicago’s Southwest Side to Forest Park. Local officials urged abandonment citing traffic, safety and tax concerns at 7500 W Roosevelt Rd.
