Barclay of Oak Park A lifelong historian in photographs
Philander Barclay, a pioneer Oak Park photographer and recorder, built a vast archive of turn of the century images and transcripts. His work connected with local elders, earned a planned 1976 exhibition for Oak Park’s 75th anniversary, and is now housed by the Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest.
