St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Century Highlight
Forest Park's St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church marked its centennial in 1967 amid growth from a small Oak Park worship group to a large city church. The Missouri Synod congregation built a Byzantine 1914 church, expanded education facilities, and continues with strong parish programs led by Pastor John Hodde and a 20-member staff.
