Church School Program Starts at Forest Park
At the September School Board meeting the Released Time for Religious Instruction was approved. Beginning Oct 5 on Thursdays pupils sign up for classes and are dismissed at 2:30 p.m. The church schools begin at 2:45 p.m. and run about one hour. First through eighth graders from all Forest Park churches participate.

Purse Missing After Lake Street incident
Westchester woman reports a stranger took her black satin purse as she left a Lake Street location on Wednesday night. The purse held cards, a driver’s license, and $10.75 in cash. she asks the thief to keep the money and drop the bag in a mailbox.
