Training Classes For Girl Scout Leaders Start Next Month
Training classes for Intermediate and Brownie troop leaders begin on October 3. Morning sessions run 9:30 to 11:30 for four weeks, Brownies 1:30 to 3:30 for four weeks. Boy Scout Band Begins Rehearsals at Lincoln School
The Boy Scout and Cub Scout Band of the Thatcher Woods Area resumes practice Saturday morning Sept. 23 at 9 oclock at Lincoln School 7756 Lake St River Forest. Three members should bring music stands. Open to any Cub or Boy Scout who plays or wants to learn a band instrument. The band has advanced and beginner sections. Darry H Brooks is director.

Proviso Family Service plans its first annual meeting on Thursday September 28 at 8 p m in Frost Park village hall. Carleton L Banker past president of Wilmette Family Service will be guest speaker.
