John Tobin Named Forest Park Police Chief
John Tobin, a 45 year old Forest Park veteran with 20 years on the force and a prior stint as Lieutenant since 1963, was appointed Chief by council on Monday. Asthmatic Program At Oak Park YMCA Opens Enrollment
The Oak Park YMCA runs an October to May asthma program for children 6 to 14 with persistent or non seasonal asthma. Sessions, held Saturdays, focus on breathing exercises and non competitive fitness under physician recommendation. A $20 annual youth membership is required.
