Survived by parents and Evelyn. attended Field-Stevenson and Proviso High. member of Forest Park Boy Builders and 129th Infantry National Guard.

William McKenney of East St. Louis and William Dugger of St. Louis were arrested in Forest Park after a reported incident involving a young woman who saw one youth follow her while the other waited in an idling car. Dugger, 16, took his father's Chrysler without consent. McKenney, 21, faced the situation as the alleged accomplice. The case led to the youths’ release to an aunt after the accuser withdrew the charge.
Officer Hogrewe arrested Bort Wall of Marengo on Madison Street Forest Park on Wednesday evening. Fin drove a truck that struck a car owned by Howard Birp of 402 W 28th Place Clears. Wall did not stop. Sirp followed to Forest Park before an officer was seen.

Mes Mathilda Eckert, 76, of 134 Lathrop Avenue Forest Park, was found dead in her home Tuesday forenoon after a coffee pot boiled over and released gas fumes. An inquest the next day confirmed accidental death. She came to America in 1844 with husband Gordllely Eckert, who died thirty-one years ago. Survived by six children and seventeen grandchildren, funeral Mass held at St Luke's River Forest. Burial in Forest Home cemetery.
