Forest Park Oktoberfest Weekend Activities and Parade Schedule
Forest Park hosts a three day Oktoberfest with a Blerzelte beer tent sidewalk sale carnival rides and tent booths in parking lots behind Trage and the V F W and in closed streets near Beloit Ferdinand and Madison. Opening ceremonies Friday 7 30 p m at Ferdinand and Madison followed by fireworks. Saturday features an Art and Flower Show at the Forest Park Library sponsored by the Garden Club and the Forest Park Woman's Club with hours 10 a m to 5 45 p m two bands and a dance at the V F W sponsored by the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce chaired by Fred and Batty Zimmerman. Sunday Oktoberfest parade.
