Band Tag Day Supports Forest Park Music Group
The Forest Park Band Parents announce a first annual Tag Day on October 20 and 21 to raise funds for instruments uniforms and travel. Forty plus student musicians will sell tags Friday 3 30 to 5 00 pm and Saturday from 9 00 am onward. Proceeds fund music and transportation and a December 10 band concert at Field Stevenson School.

Three Fugitive Suspects Captured Near Forest Park
Forest Park detectives and Hillside officers nabbed three men linked to a major burglary. A stakeout on Elgin Avenue led to arrests for burglary tools and stolen goods found in two cars. One suspect held on a Wisconsin fugitive warrant.

Legion Post 414 Installs 1973 Officers in Forest Park
Legion Post 414 of the American Legion held an informal installation ceremony on October 16 1972 for 1973 officers with Joe Sansone entering a second year as Commander. Other officers installed included Ed Meloff Jr Vice Commander Thomas Mackay Adjutant Norm Felbinger Finance Officer and Ray Gustafson installing Sgt at Arms. A reception followed with chili tamales coffee and cake in the club rooms.
