American Legion Meeting and Deed Transfer at Community House

American Legion Woreat Park Post and Women’s Auxiliary held a joint October 7 meeting at the Community Outhouse. The Patrio tic Community League of Morgst Tark arranged the deed handover for a southeast Circle and Adana corner lot. Officials spoke on plans to erect a building as Bunco, refreshments, and dancing followed the formal deed presentation and pledges of support from league members and attendees.

Aged Woman Hurt Has Relatives Here

Elaborate plans are laid by Far West Post American Legion for an Armistice Day dance at the amusement park ballroom on Friday November 11 with Henry Knoop as general chairman. Husk O'Hare's twelve piece orchestra will provide music. Prizes include a floor lamp valued at 75 dollars for the holder of the lucky admission ticket. Village Council Keeps Weekly Session Amid Local Affairs

The village council met Monday evening with routine business and a discussion on the Keough case. They approved a six inch cast iron gas main extension on Brown avenue and levied special assessments Nos. 105 and 108. Boy Injured In Bicycle Crash On Harri son Street

Miles Sharpless Jr was injured Wednesday at 4:00 PM when his bicycle was struck by a car driven by Miss G Northstead of Austin near Harri son Street and Circle Avenue. He suffered a severe wound near his right eye and minor bruises, was taken to Oak Park Hospital, then returned home to recover.
