Army Pvt Armand J Crema Assigned in Germany
Army private Armand J Crema age 26 son of Primo T Crema of 1112 Elgin was assigned to the 940th Engineer Group in Germany on September 19 as a dark typist at the group headquarters. Crema enlisted January 1967 and completed basic training at Fort Bragg. He was previously stationed at Fort Sill Houston Texas.

Council Denies Dance Hall Permit in Forest Park
Forest Park Village Council refused a permit for a dance hall at 7309 Franklin River Forest noting teen dances would not serve community interests. River Forest resident Martin McGee spoke, but commissioners Lambke Rizzo and Dowd backed the denial unanimously.
