Obituary of Falwin Gideon in Forest Park area
Falwin Gideon husband of Lilian Reid-Gaden died Tuesday November 18 at his home on Monroe Street after a prolonged illness of fourteen months. He was born in Forest Park May 14, IRAN and educated locally. He attended Metropolitan Business College and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife Lilian, two children Edwin Jr. and Viola, his mother Rosa Gaden, two brothers Marty and Anton, and one sister Martha Yartley. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon with Knights of Pythias and St Peter's Lutheran Church services. Interment at Mt Auburn. Community sympathy is extended to his family.

Fire at about 0:40 a m gutted a Browns town area home owned by Mrs HW Glazen of Chicago. George Bebrage and family evacuated as flames damaged basement and wires, with smoke routing neighbors calling for help after overheated furnace failure. A six year old boy was moved to safety as fire and insurance details followed.
