American Legion post 414 continues a WWI era ritual begun in 1920 to decorate deceased Forest Park veterans. From 28 graves in one Forest Park cemetery, the effort now covers 142 graves across 25 cemeteries. Wreaths are mailed to next of kin, and donations from Forest Park students help cover flags and wreath costs.
