Revise Improve Service On Shopper's Special Bus
Ninety days of testing produced a new schedule for the free Shopper's Special bus aimed at more riders. The hourly Elgin and Harrison departures run 9 am to 2 pm with a Friday and Saturday noon break, about 53 minute trips and a seven minute layover. The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce and village sponsor the 16 passenger minibus serving the Forest Park Community Center and senior groups, with driver Harry Schnurstein.
