Little League Parade Set For Sunday in Forest Park
Nearly fifty vehicles, marchers and celebrities will join the Annual Little League Parade next Sunday afternoon May 18 in Forest Park. The route runs from the American Legion Hall Circle to Madison to Desplaines and into the park for opening ceremonies and a new electric scoreboard. The Morton Majorettes perform a twirling exhibit and the Forest Park School Band will provide music. Cubs officials and many local merchants join the parade lineup of entries from Reich and Becker, Roy Mohr and Sons, and Forest Park Kiwanis Club among others.

Public invited to the U S Naval Ordnance Plant in Forest Park for the ninth annual Armed Forces Day open house. Tours displays movies and refreshments run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with main gate entry and on grounds parking. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
