Organ Recital Marks Dedication of New Addition at St John
St John Lutheran Church will present Hugo Gehrke in an organ recital next Sunday at 7 30 p m to dedicate the Rueckpositiv addition to the organ The Memorial Organ expands to 55 ranks with a Ceremonial Trumpete and is designed by Paul Bunjes built by Berghaus Organ Co The recital showcases the tonal qualities of the enhanced instrument.

Burglary Hits Wick Jewelry Store Loss Estimated at $1500
Mrs. Lorrayne Wick reports over 40 watches stolen from her jewelry store after a display window was shattered in a Monday break-in. An off duty Forest Park officer almost caught the culprits before they fled down Burkhardt Court. Wick has no insurance on the merchandise or window.

Sidewalk Sale to Feature Four Contests in Forest Park
The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce plans a June 5 Sidewalk Sale with four contests: cake bakeoff by Trage Bros, bicycle decorating by Reich and Becker Agency, a best groomed pet by Forest Park Review and Jnne Towne Pet Motel, and a Bicentennial costume contest by Forest Park National Bank. Cash prizes, 90 craft exhibitors, 10 civic groups selling treats, and entertainment from Quitsch Florist, Lions Club, and popcorn wagon will accompany the sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. William Hughes notes the event with displays by local merchants and police and fire department demonstrations including a snorkel unit and trauma ambulance.
