Paul I Pranks a Provko high school instructor and Maywood resident died Wednesday evening after a brief illness. Survived by wife and two children, aged five and twenty months, he was born October 21 1880 near Garrett Indiana and graduated Northwestern University in 1922 where he played baseball and was a Delta Upsilon member. He coached at Provko High School, was a Shriner and Knights Templar, and known as a devoted teacher and father. Funeral arrangements were made in Indiana and school activities were postponed.

A large gathering attended the funeral of A R Dow father of Harvey B Dow at his Geneva home and burial followed at the city cemetery. Dow, born July 20 1830 in Marengu, moved to Kanegouty in 1804 and founded a Geneva jewelry business later establishing the bank with which he remained associated until death. Survived by widow Katherine Huntington Dewey Dow and two children Harvey and Mrs Hermie Dow Julabird. former wife Tina Toas Andrewn Dow predeceased him.
