Forest Park Man Charged in Dope Case
Leonard J. Elliot 22 of 1002 Troost Street Forest Park was charged with selling marijuana to a federal undercover agent and assaulting an agent. He appeared before US Commissioner James J. Balog with bond set at 30000, later reduced to 10000 after a federal judge’s intervention. The alleged sale occurred February 24 and an attempted second purchase led to a confrontation with Elliot at his home.

Army Private Completes Training at Fort Ord
Army Pvt. Terry A. Walderson aged 23 son of Mr and Mrs Arnold Waldersen of 7405 Madison completed eight weeks of advanced infantry training at Fort Ord California on February 10.
