A crowd from spotless Town led by Michael Briech and F. A. Harvey gathered at the Community club to oppose a non political citizens group. They urged organization to protect rights in Woreat Mark and announced a new Citizens of Ferret Park chapter with a meeting set for Sunday at noon March 7.

Bound to Grand Jury In Delinquency Case In Forest Park

Paul Sheaton of Vakirk was bound over to the grand jury by Justice McKee on a charge connected to the delinquency of Jaura Karner an 18 year old girl of Forest Park. The testimony described six months of acquaintance and seven car rides with Sheahan posing as single and using the name Ghar Borman. The girl remained in Oak Park hospital for weeks but recovered.

Annual Easter Sale by Neighborhood Club at Forest Park

Women look forward to the annual Easter sale by the Neighborhood Club at Forest Park Community House on March 26. Proceeds fund Forest Park Public School projects with items such as homemade cakes, towels, and white elephant gifts. The event raised 200 dollars previously, with funds also supporting the Krivellay fund for school yard improvements.

Lady Macabees Social at Forest Tark Clubhouse

The Lady Macabees of Forest Tark held a Thursday social at the Community club house with Lottie Wethke hosting her birthday celebration. Guests enjoyed a tuna salad meal, dancing, and prize games as Deputy Commander Mary I. Ryan delivered a speech. A later note mentions a Non-Partisan Caucus in Berger with nominations for township offices.

The annual election for Forest Park board of education members will be held Saturday April 17. Terms of Clarence Howler and Gent expire, with Jerry Maleo and Martin ann Jr also up for re election.

Popular Forest Park teacher Frank Curtiss dies at 60

Frank Curtiss longtime Forest Park educator and school administrator died at his home on Prom Street after a long illness. He taught at Linden school, Oak Glenn Illinois and led Forest Park schools as principal and superintendent. He married to May Miles in 1900 and is survived by his wife and four children. Funeral services were held at Blatter's with former students and staff in attendance. Interment followed at Forest Hill cemetery. The community mourns a devoted teacher and civic leader.

Forest Park Business Men Seek Hearing On Transit Fares

At Forest Park weekly meeting of the Commercial Men’s association on March 2, 1920, members urged a Public Utilities Commission inquiry into fare structures charged by the Chicago and West Towns Railway Company. They asked for reopening of the case pending before the commission and for relief due to long village rides, with a demand that rates be equitable. A resolution was adopted, and a copy sent to the commission.
