Harold Blough Retires to Find His Own Song of the Islands
Harold Blough, co owner of Blough Miner Appliance at 7511 Madison, retires to Florida after five years in Westchester. A longtime radio hobbyist who worked at Rohr s Music Shop in 1928 and later reopened Blough Miner, he served four years in the Air Transport Command during World War II. He still aids Navy personnel by relaying messages from Chicago and has long connected places worldwide through amateur radio.
