Forest Park Reinstates Meter Parking In Town
Forest Park plans meter enforcement after March 15 to allow residents and shoppers to learn of the meters. Meters exist on Madison Street, part of Elgin block, Harlem near Circle, and Circle to Marengo with two hour limits under review for additional blocks. Parking rates match other villages: 12 minutes per penny, 60 minutes six cents, 120 minutes ten cents.
