New Police Radios Bring Partners to Oak Park Villages
The Oak Park River Forest and Forest Park police install a shared radio system with on person radios for officers. Chief Lew Good demonstrates radio contact with Mayor Howard Mohr as coverage expands to burglar alarms and rapid alerts. The project cost about 25000 with 75 percent funded by a grant from the Illinois Law Enforcement Commission.
