In a separate notice, Wilhelmina Pries, mother of Jot Priex, died after a prolonged illness at her daughter's home in Maywood following forty five years as a resident of West Park and relocation after her husband’s death. She was born in Germany and survived by children including John Fries’s family. services held at St John’s Lutheran. Additional names include John, Wilhelm, Gusty, and others, with funeral and burial details noted.
Superintendent Mueller of the public schools remains at home this week due to illness. A Kiwanis visiting committee offered aid, while flowers were sent by Forest Social Club. Flu cases reduce attendance. several staff and teachers are off, with nurse substitutions arranged.
