Borsch Forfeits Bond After Auto Accident Non-Appearance

Plate Glass Insurance In Forest Park Committee

Village Well Progress Near Water Strata Hit
The city’s new well sits about 1,800 feet deep with 850 feet to go. Digging passed through sand into shale and aims to reach water strata in two to three weeks. Once reached, steel casing will be installed. A new water reservoir building front nears completion with bricks delivered for garage transformer room workshop and meter department. Forest Park Couple In Automobile Crash At Austin Boulevard
Mrs. B Schreder of 301 Marengo avenue Pue was fatally struck by an automobile on Austin Boulevard in front of the West Suburban hospital Tuesday evening. She died within a half hour after being taken to the hospital. The driver, Ralph Jones Jr a 16yearold Chicago youth, stopped after the accident. Mr Schreder aged about 70 who had been hospitalized since Sunday underwent an appendectomy and is slowly recovering. He has not been told of his wife’s death. Schreder is a cost accountant and paymaster for the Ed Hoon Company Cedar chest manufacturer.

Willim Haselow a nine year old boy of 1119 Circle avenue was bitten Monday afternoon by a dog while playing near 1177 Wate Street. The dog named Boorty leaped for the boy’s face and caused a serious wound below the left eye followed by distress.

The Madison Btreat Boosters club and Forest Perk Commercial club plan a combined picnic at Dellwood Park Joliet on August 7. The date was decided at a Wednesday night meeting. A Jewish charity picnic near Attenheim Grove drew about 2000 attendees from Chicago but was soaked by a Sunday storm. Bogus check passer arrested in Forest Park River Forest
A man described as a heavyset stranger was arrested after using a 61 dollar check at a River Forest greenhouse and attempting another at a Forest Park greenhouse. Police say he is familiar with greenhouses and gave name details during questioning.
