The Forest Milk State bank plans a remodel at 7401 Midisco street costing 30000. President A Hoon says work may start soon but is delayed by tenant John Masek occupying parts of the building. The project will merge the bank space with Mr Masek’s room into one large banking room and update with modern fittings. The bank is the oldest in Proving township, once run as A Koon & Sons with A Roos and others.

Charles Morgan aged thirty two passed away after an operation for cancer at Rolwtt Burns hospital. He leaves his wife and seven year old daughter Evelyn. Ahalies Morgan of Elgin avenue long resident of Forest Dark and Med Tyemley, he served Mead Cycle company for twenty years starting as a boy. His fellow workers mourn his loss and Mrs Margun notes his exemplary character.

George Young son of Mr and Mrs George Young was shot and killed by cousin Walter Koehner at their home on Concord cemetery road. The revolver was found in the Young basement.
