Ernest Reich Dies A Pioneer Businessman at 76
Ernest Reich, longtime Forest Park businessman and civic leader, died at his home aged 76. Born in Forest Park, he began his real estate and insurance career in 1904 on Madison Street and later formed Reich and Becker Agency in 1932 with Fred C. Becker. He served eight years as Township Assessor and was active in Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, and St. John Lutheran Church. He lived at 149 Elgin and is survived by wife Hulda, two sons Willis and Howard, a daughter Mrs Norman Lewis, and two granddaughters Paula and Nancy. Services were at Zimmermans with burial at Concordia Cemetery.
