Plans Take Shape For Forest Park Trade Fair
Plans are forming for the First Savings Forest Park Free Trade Fair scheduled June 28 to July 8. More than 25 manufacturers are preparing displays at First Savings and Loan Assoc on Madison and in over 26 local establishments. The event aims to showcase products and services of the Forest Park west suburban area with hours each day and expansive displays from Illinois Public Service Northern Illinois Gas and Winoswell Telephone.

Marquard Announces Record Dividend Payments
E. Clifford Marquardt treasurer of the Cook County Council of Insured Savings Associations says savers in Chicago and suburban Cook County earned a record $90 million in dividends from over 2 million accounts in the first half of this year. He notes a 12 percent rise from the same period in 1960 as the postwar trend of rising dividends continues toward about $200 million yearly.

Leonard Karlin of 720 W Adams will be installed as president of the Dixon State School Parents Association at a Sunday meeting at Parents Park Dixon Mt State School for the mentally retarded. The 10 year community volunteer has served as board member and legislative chairman. The group sponsors welfare services for about 5 000 residents and is affiliated with the Illinois Council for Mentally Retarded Children. Miss Ann Hogan will speak on school and home visits.
