Forest Park council stalls on filling vacancy after threats
After a 40 minute closed session Forest Park officials debated filling the two year unexpired term on the village board. A group calling itself The Concerned Citizens of Forest Park demanded an appointment or a special election under threat of litigation.

The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual golf outing on Wednesday July 13 at Nordic Hills Country Club Itasca. Combination dinner golf tickets cost 23 dollars with separate dinner 13 and golf 10. Tee times run 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Prizes awarded to all attendees. Blood pressure testing by the Forest Park Fire Department will be discontinued on summer Saturdays. tests available on select weekdays and Friday evenings at the fire station 517 Desplaines.
