Huxhold formerly of Forest Park and now pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Indianapolis Indiana earned his Doctor of Ministry Magna Cum Laude at Butler University He also received 100 for Hebrew studies He is a Concordia Seminary graduate 1944 with a 1969 Master of Theology He sits on eleven committees has published seventeen religious books and pamphlets He is married to Lucille Koerber and they have five children

ACT IV ENDS YEAR ACT IV DRAMA GROUP MEETING
The St Bernardine Parish group in Forest Park ends its second year with a June 16 meeting at 8 00 p m in the Elgin and Harrison Streets school hall Elgin and Harrison Streets Elgin Illinois election of the board for the coming year will be held and plans for next years traveling musical revue will be announced. The year end banquet was at Johnny Lattner s Marina Towers restaurant with the outgoing board presenting a spoof of the last two years activities.

Gene Schwarz Builds Large Horse Collection in Forest Park
Forest Park resident Gene Schwarz has amassed 160 horse figurines over 25 years. The collection includes wood, ceramic, crystal, metal and onyx pieces ranging from about an inch to 45 pounds, with many gifts from grateful locals honoring his generous nature.

James W. Reedy Receives Old Timers Award in Oak Park
James W. Reedy of Oak Park was honored at a banquet by the Old Timers Baseball Association. Born in 1895 in Chicago, he played high school ball for St Ignatius and later semi pro teams. He served in World War I in France and won Butterfield Club Championship in 1926-27. He has run an Oak Park insurance agency for decades.
