911 Not For Routine Calls With Initial Curiosity
Forest Park and River Forest connect to a new 911 emergency system in service since June 3. Chief Lew Good notes early hang ups due to curiosity, now reduced, as 911 handles only police and fire emergencies. Routine police calls use 366-2425 and fire calls 386-2421.
