Commencement week at Township High marks Graduation
The twelfth annual Commencement week features a full program led by Dr Franklyn Wind Snyder and Dr I F Erwins with the high school diplomas awarded to ninety-two graduates. Vacation School Enrollments Hit Record in Forest Park
Forest Park children from many denominations have enrolled in a five week vacation school to be held at Hoover Teabyterian Church. The program runs 9 to 11 oclock each morning Monday through Friday. Boys will learn manual training and girls arts and crafts. Five professional teachers have donated services. church members volunteer. The term costs 1. Children aged from Ave to twelve form the major group. Pickup arrangements are organized for north and south of the tracks with designated meet points and leaders at Bos Jolt avenue Adams street and at 1003 Duniop avenue.

The Forest Park Commercial Association will hold its annual picnic at Dellwood Park Illinois on August 9 with a rain date of August 10. Walter W. L. Franks son nearly drinks poison in bath room scare
Frank Bender Jr narrowly escaped harm after the boy found a bottle of carbolic acid on a bathroom stand and attempted to drink from it. His mother interrupted him and the cork was still on the bottle. A physician ruled no liquid was swallowed and the danger passed. The incident shook the family, and neighbors jokingly blamed Mr. Bender for keeping poison within reach.
