Larry Granger to Conduct Mozart Fourth Movement in Wheaton

Larry Granger age 12 of the Wheaton Youth Symphony will conduct the fourth movement of Mozart Symphony 40 on Saturday June 13 at Wheaton College. The 80 member group includes high school musicians from the area with past concerts in Indiana Tennessee and Florida and an upcoming performance at the New York World's Fair. Rounding out his music career he is the fourth chair cellist and earned one of four scholarships to a summer session at Northern Mine ois University. his father serves as a Naval officer at the Naval Ordnance Plant.

A 3:30 AM Wednesday arson attempt at Golden Liquors on Circle and Harlem left a gasoline can, crowbar window break, and a damaged soda stock. Police and state investigators pursue motives as no crew is identified and no injuries reported.
