Forest Park Eagles Auxiliary Instated With 59 Members
A new Forest Park Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary is instituted Sunday at the Gram-White Armoury Circle avenue and Randolph street Forest Park. Fifty nine women who are wives sisters or mothers of Eagle members pledged as charter members. The ceremony includes installation of officers and a dinner at Maple Lane with invited auxiliaries from Garfield Park Aurora and other areas anticipated to attend.

Police notes report an uninvited guest on Tuesday July 27 after 12 a chimed time entering Peter Gurvaris’s 1503 Elgin Avenue home via a jimmied front porch window. The intruder left with household items. Frank Proska at 150 Elgin Ave and another guest entered by a window and pantry window respectively. Property value stolen not known. Mrs Dora Libratora of 1126 Beloit Avenue incurred a jaw injury from a yawn and is hospitalized at Oak Park hospital with a dislocated jaw.
