Toboggan Slide Erected in Harlem Forest Preserves
The Forest Preserve at Outpost Preserves on Harlem avenue and Lake street builds a toboggan slide directed by A J Cormack the county board chair. The 16 foot high frame with a two foot runway will run north in the east park area and opens for Christmas week use under Henry Justaen who expects youngsters to test it by week’s end. Skating ponds in the park attract crowds as ice is swept and fed daily amid a skating revival this winter.
