Two year old Richard Rosco swallowed forty children’s aspirin from a bottle at home after waking from a nap. His mother rushed him to Oak Park hospital where doctors pumped his stomach to prevent serious harm.

Increase Reward For Tombstone Vandalism In Forest Park
Forest Park police raise rewards to 2150 dollars for information leading to arrest and conviction after 50 tombstones were toppled at Jewish Waldheim cemetery. Nazi swastikas were painted on stones and a rabbi’s mausoleum was defaced.

A Proviso anniversary year begins with plans led by Martin M. Finstad. Senior William Schwedler designed the emblem under Nick Ernest. A banquet on May 6 honors graduates, administrators, teachers, and oldest living graduate. The 1911 PTJS class and 1920 district formation are noted.

World Series Film For St. Peter's Men
On Wednesday January 27 at 8 pm the King's Men of St Peter's Lutheran Church will present one of the 1859 World Series films featuring the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers. They will also view a new sports film Baseball's Hall of Fame with church members and guests.
