A group of 160 Forest Parkers traveled by bus to witness State Sen. Howard Mohr’s inauguration at the State Capitol last week. They departed Tuesday, enjoyed a night on the town, and attended Wednesday ceremonies followed by a prime rib luncheon at the 5th Nic Hotel with Governor, Auditor Mike Howlett, and several state senators in attendance.

The final conference of the Forest Park Infant Welfare concluded with a decision to terminate the welfare service due to the pediatrician's retirement. Mothers will receive immunization records for their children by mail, and nurse Mrs Hosler will be at the station Friday mornings from 10 to 11:30 in January and February to answer questions and provide information.
