Forest Park Community Chest approves half budgets for six groups
At the January meeting the Forest Park Community Chest board authorized payments totaling half of each participating group's approved budgets. The first disbursements include Girl Scouts 1500 dollars Boy Scouts 1450 dollars Infant Welfare 1002 dollars Family Service 1381.50 dollars and Community Nursing 366 dollars. The drive aimed for 12500 dollars but only 9204.41 had been raised. Payroll deductions will continue to year end.

Trio Holds Up Whitehall Service Station in Harlem
A trio robbed the Whitehall Service Station at 915 Harlem Sunday evening. Two men entered the office and announced a stick up while a third waited outside in a car.
