The Proviso Evening School unveils 81 Spring Term classes starting Feb 1 for Proviso Township residents. Secretary of State Charles Carpentier warned motorists that the February 15 deadline to display 1960 license plates is approaching with six weeks left to obtain plates. Mail applications face four weeks to reach Springfield due to processing times, and peak-period delays. Through December 31, about 1,292,000 applications were received toward an expected 3,825,000 registrations. high-number reassignment requests from October may experience delays as plates are mailed in numerical order.

Aliens Must Register Address Reports Under Way
The annual alien address report program is again under way. Address reports are required by law and willful failure to comply may lead to serious consequences. Forms to file are available at all Post Offices and Immigration Offices. It is easy to fit out a card and return it to the same office. Trained personnel will assist reporting aliens with immigration and naturalization questions. Sufficient trained personnel are not available to push this service in all Post Offices.

The field includes 240 men and 96 women from 42 states, with prize money raised to 60,000 dollars. Mail Your March Of Dimes Donation Drive Encouraged
Forest Park residents are urged to return March of Dimes donations by mail before January 14 as part of a county wide drive that began January 2 with mailers sent to over 1.2 million Cook County homes. The goal is one million dollars to fund local aid for crippled children and ongoing research and prevention programs for crippling diseases and polio patients.
