In a heated weekly session Mayor Kaul ordered Brisch to leave after Brisch demanded the floor to protest zoning and factory activity. The crowd saw tense exchanges as Brisch vowed to press rights. a bystander challenged the council, while bids for wrecking the tower were opened and sent to departments for approval. The Lutheran pastor resigned, and a planning dispute continued with expected synod confirmation for a new pastor.
Bueter of Forest Park and J Buttendorit of Oak face a deadly street collision incident in Chicago. The woman was struck while crossing and taken to a village hall for aid before transport to a hospital. Doctors found multiple fractures and she remains hospitalized.
