Little Willard Bruyer, previously with his parents, now has a new baby water. Margaret, who arrived at Oak Park hospital, is recovering. A stockholders meeting of the Local Cedar Cheat factory approved new directors. upbeat about business and orders. The Review displays a 1800 Ulster County newspaper in its window, with Washington funeral notices printed. A J Ernst purchased the Park View restaurant on Madison Street from Louis Goldner. Miss Fope and Mrs Reuben will manage with plans for improvements.

The Neighborhood Club met on Friday February 14 at Mrs Paul Zimmerman’s home to plan an April 12 after sale fundraiser for school pictures. New members were elected and a Heritage Day prize was awarded. A joint Federation invitation to Forest Park on April 1 was announced, with luncheon details and reservations through Mrs Breitenfeld.
A February 27 welcome home event at Forest Park invites all Forest Park residents to honor local service members returning since January 28. The evening includes a 6 to 7 banquet at the Community Club house, escorted procession by veterans and Red Cross, a short program at the ball room, and dancing with Forest Park band members.
A pleasant home gathering occurred Monday afternoon and evening at william Winterroth and Mrs Winterroth on Monroe Street to mark their fourth wedding anniversary. About twenty friends attended, organized by Mrs Joby Taige. Guests arrived in the afternoon and departed at midnight bearing edible contributions.
