Shopper's Special shuttle to run Fridays and Saturdays
Forest Park Chamber and Community Center will operate a free Shopper's Special shuttle each Friday and Saturday starting February 6 within Forest Park village limits. The mini-bus runs 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with three daily trips from Elgin/Harrison, Madison, and Desplaines routes to serve shoppers and survey riders for future adjustments. Reservations for BPW event details are noted with a February 12 dinner at 6:30 pm.

Real Senior Prom Slated for Forest Park Seniors
Forest Park Senior Citizens Commission hosts a real senior prom for residents 60 and over at the Forest Park Community Center on Saturday March 13 at 7 30 p m. Attire is formal with dance cards for ladies. A live three piece band will play big band favorites as refreshments are served. Singles and couples welcome. Call 771 7737 for tickets and arrangements including free home to center transportation via the center’s minibus with advance reservations.
