St John continues Advent prep with a second Advent Service at 7 30 p m Wednesday Dec 11 The theme is Face To Face With God and aims to unfold the message of God coming into the world in Jesus Christ The sermon titled With What Shall I Meet My Lord invites the community to join in spiritual preparation for the coming King.
The Safety and Traffic Commission met with Ed Schmidtke of River Forest and Lt Ed Ziebell of Forest Park to review safety problems. Oak Park involvement was noted and Bob Bill named to handle public relations for the commission.
